udhiana,27 November (Daljeet Vicky) In a magnificent display of sportsmanship, zeal, and camaraderie, Sacred Heart Convent School, Sec-39 Urban Estate, Ludhiana, celebrated the conclusion of its Annual Sports Extravaganza with a dazzling Closing Ceremony.

Rev. Fr.Dr. Varghese Chakkarakadan, Director of St. Joseph’s Convent School, Banga was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He was accorded a warm welcome by the school Management- The Director, Rev. Fr.Dr. Thomas Poochalil, the school Principal Rev. Sr. Crispin Maria, Primary In-charge Rev. Sr. Kripa Jose, Kindergarten In-charge Rev. Sr. Sharon Maria.

Beyond the realm of sports, the Closing Ceremony featured a cultural extravaganza. Students presented vibrant dance performances, reflecting the rich diversity of our cultural heritage. The fusion of sports and culture added a unique and memorable dimension to the event.

The chief guest shared inspiring words that resonated with the spirit of sportsmanship, perseverance, and the importance of holistic development through sports. Addressing the students the chief guest expressed his pleasure stating that children have the special power to bring out their true caliber through sports and games and participation in sports should be encouraged without thinking about the success or failure.

The outstanding athletes were felicitated for their remarkable performances with Medals, trophies, and certificates by the chief guest.

Further , the chief guest Rev. Fr. Dr. Varghese was invited to declare the sports meet closed by following the protocol of Solemn Closing Ceremony by lowering and handing over the flag.

The school Sports Club secretary in her closing remarks expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the Annual Sports Fiesta.
