Amritsar, 3 November (Mohit Talwar) : As per the Directions of Hon’ble Commissioner Food safety Punjab Dr Abhinav Trikha IAS and as per orders of Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Sh Ghanshyam Thori IAS Additional Deputy Commissioner General Sh Harpreet Singh IAS Food safety team Amritsar Comprising Asstt Commissioner food Safety Rajinder Pal Singh alongwith FSOs Kamaldeep kaur, Ashwani Kumar, Amandeep Singh and Sakshi Khosla along with police officials did late evening raid in village Manawala Teh Ajnala Distt Amritsar During Raid Kuldeep Singh S/o Tarlok Singh was found making spurious Khoya by mixing of Skimmed Milk Powder and Vanaspati with the help of grinder.

At the time of raid he was having total 287 Kgms of sporious Khoya which was destroyed by the team on the spot and 105 kgms of Vanaspati and 44 kgms of Vanaspati were seized by the team which were used as adulterant in making khoya.

There after another person Desa Singh S/o Rulda Singh was making Khoya in village Manawala by using SMP and Vanaspati. During raid it was found 50 kg of sporious Khoya was present which was destroyed at the spot and 18 Kgs of Skimmed Milk powder and 10 kgs of Vanaspati was seized by the team which were used as adulterant in making Khoya.

Total 337 kgms of khoya destroyed and 115 kgm of Vanaspati and 62 kgms of SMP seized Also Mixer Grinder at both the premises sealed.

And culprit’s caught by the police officials for further investigation. FIR lodged against the accused by SHO Sh Yadwinder Singh PS Lopoke .6 samples also seized on the spot.
