World Earth Day Celebrations at Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala
Patiala : The Eco Club of Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala celebrated 'World Earth Day' in the college campus under the guidance of college Principal Dr (Prof.) Kusum Lata. The program aims to spread awareness about conserving the environment and protecting mother earth for future generations. The theme of the program was 'Invest In Our Planet'. Poster making and Nest making competitions were held.
The student participated in these competitions with great zeal and enthusiasm. The students prepared beautiful nests and posters. The nests were hanged on the tree branches. The presentation by students made everyone present realise the importance of their planet and the need to value it. The students also took a pledge to celebrate each day as The Earth Day. The program was organised by Dr. Jaspreet Kaur and Dr. Tarandeep Kaur
