Joyful Festivities Mark Christmas Celebration at SHCS

Ludhiana, 21 December (Daljeet Vicky): Sacred Heart Convent School, Sec-39, Urban Estate, Ludhiana celebrated Christmas with great joy and fervor. The Christmas celebration commenced with a cultural extravaganza featuring captivating performances by students from various classes. The school's campus echoed with melodious carols, vibrant dances, and heartwarming skits that beautifully captured the essence of the season.


One of the highlights of the day was the inter-house Crib-Making Competition. Each house showcased their creativity and craftsmanship as they crafted stunning cribs depicting the nativity scene. The competition not only brought out the artistic talents of the students but also fostered healthy competition and a sense of camaraderie among the houses. The spirit of Christmas was further enhanced by the Carol Singing Competition, where students demonstrated their vocal prowess and harmonious teamwork.


The much-anticipated arrival of Santa Claus added an extra dose of excitement. Santa, with a bag full of goodies, distributed gifts and sweets to the delight of the younger students. The school Director Rev Fr. Thomas Poochalil wished all the children Merry Christmas and a prosperous New year. In her address, Principal Rev. Sr. Crispin Maria expressed her gratitude to the school fraternity for coming together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. She emphasized the importance of kindness, generosity, and spreading joy during the festive season.


As part of the school's commitment to social responsibility, a collection drive for essentials and gifts was organized, and these will be distributed to local charities to brighten the festive season for those in need. The Christmas celebration at SHCS was a heartwarming display of unity, creativity, and the true spirit of the season.
