Ludhiana, May 28 : The Punjab Cricket Association has elected new office bearers in its Annual General Meeting held on 26th May at I.S.Bindra Cricket Stadium, PCA Mohali. Rajeev Sharma, Electoral Officer announced the Office Bearers and Members of Apex Council as elected unopposed.

The President on behalf of Punjab Cricket Association felicitated renowned industrialist, social worker, philanthropist and former member of Apex Council of PCA Sanjeev Arora and Harbhajan Singh, a renowned cricketer who has played 100 test matches on their elections as Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and presented the Silver Plate commemorating the event. Harbhajan Singh was not present at the meeting. However, his recorded video message was displayed on the occasion.

The details of the Office Bearers and Members of Apex Council as elected unopposed are as under:

President: Gulzarinder Singh Chahal

• Ex-Cricketer, Entrepreneur, Film Actor, Producer and Philanthropist.

• A Member of the Winning Junior World Cup Team which defeated Pakistan at Lords.

• Played for U-16, U-19 Punjab, Inter Zonal and Rest of India.

• Represented Punjab in the Ranji Trophy

• M.D. Medallion Group which is a leading Real Estate and Infrastructure Company.

• Charitable NGO – Koshish Chahal Trust, which is for drug free Punjab “Jago Nashe Tyago” and promotion of Sports

Vice President: Gagan Khanna

• An avid sports enthusiast and the Managing Director of Arisudana Industries Limited, a prestigious company that is the pioneer in Airjet Spinning Technology in India and also ranks amongst the leading yarn manufacturing companies worldwide.

Hony. Secretary: Dilsher Khanna

• An alumni of The Doon School and Delhi University is an entrepreneur in the financial services and the energy industry. He is a qualified pilot and has vast and varied experience in Business Management and Administration.

Honorary Jt. Secretary: Surjit Rai

• Surjit Rai, who is involved with the game of cricket at district and state level for the last 30 years. He has vast experience in the cricket organization
