Annual prize distribution function organized at Dr. A.V.M Public Senior Secondary School
Ludhiana: Annual prize distribution function organised in the holy presence of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji at Dr. A.V.M Public Senior Secondary School, Isa Nagari Puli in Ludhiana.
Chief guest Ludhiana central MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi along with Bansi Lal Premi, head of Ambedkar Navyuvak Dal, school director Rajeev Kumar Lovely distributed prizes to the students who came first, second and third in recent held examinations, including those who showed good talent in different competitions like Rakhi making, Mehendi, Deepawali competition etc. MLA Pappi also inaugurated the art and craft exhibition organized by the students.
Addressing on the occasion, MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi said that Dr. BR Ambedkar had came to this school. Dr. Ambedkar had asked former MLA late Babu Ajit Kumar, father of Rajeev Kumar Lovely, to build a school that would spread clean education. Apart from this, wherever Dr. BR Ambedkar's feet fall, it is bound to spread education. He also assured full support from the government to the school.
Rajeev Kumar Lovely said that it has been the tradition of the school to give good education to the children by following the thoughts of their Gurus, Pirs and Prophets. Dr. AVM Public Senior Secondary School management organise prize distribution ceremony every in the holy presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. He wished the students a bright future and also appealed to the parents to keep the children away from mobiles, which were hindering their mental and physical development.
Earlier, the annual report of the school was read out by Principal Manisha Gaba.
Among others, Sanjay, Vikas Malhotra, Vedant, Ram Das, teachers, Vice Principal Uma Barnard, Harsh Bala, Amita Rajan, Gurpreet Kaur were also present on the occasion.
