GGI students donated Books, notebooks and stationery material for the underprivileged families
Ludhiana, 22 April. Students of Gulzar Group of Institutes organized a Donation Camp at at its campus for underprivileged families. The institute has conducted an event named “Clinch the Deal” in the campus where the students displayed their marketing skills and the amount they earned from the event has been utilized to bring the prestigious smile on the faces of the students by donating books, notebooks and stationery material for the underprivileged primary school students. Noble cause of donation camp aimed to begin new academic life of the students.
GGI students want to help the next generation so that they wouldn’t have to face obstacles during their student life. They immensely contributed for such a noble cause and revealed an inspiration for the society that only looks for love, care and affection.
The Executive Director Gurkirat Singh said that at the moment that literacy is bliss and education need not be imparted in just schools. We must develop a culture of donating stationery as it takes a child a long way. Initiatives like these take time to gain a positive response, but we hope for the best. In this day and age of social media, incorporating the habit of reading books, would help young minds to enhance their ability to focus while enriching their minds and souls, He added.
