Ludhiana 20 June : kuldeep singh kohara -Mega Career Counsellor’s Meet 2023 Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana organized a MEGA CAREER COUNSEELLOR’S MEET 2023 in collaboration with District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises, Ludhiana to enlighten the counsellors from all over Punjab about the new age career options available India and Abroad. The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Sukhman Mann, PCS, Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer, Ludhiana, Mr. Gurkirat Singh, District Guidance Counsellor and Mr. Deepak Bhalla, Deputy CEO, District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises, Ludhiana. The Key Speaker of the day was Mr. Amrit Pal Singh Kalsi, Senior Officer, and CoC, External Organization Tie Up cell of Department of Career Guidance, LPU, Punjab.

The main concern of the whole event was on the role a career counsellor plays in a student’s life which can simply turn around the scenario upside down for them. There is a lack of awareness and information about the various career options available for students after passing out of school in India. The need of the hour is to educate counsellors first about the career options available globally. Keeping this in view, Mr. Kalsi stressed upon the various new age career options such as Cloud Computing, Big Data, Data Science, Machine Learning, Block Chain, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of things, Cyber Forensics, Food Scientist, UX Designer, AR & VR.

Ms. Sukhman Mann addressed the counsellors present there and motivated them to guide the future generation towards recent trends in the field of education and industry.
