ABC Sports Academy organised 3 Day Basketball Tournament begins in Haibowal Kalan
Ludhiana. On the occasion of Olympic Day Celebrations, ABC Sports Academy organized a 3 days Under 17 Girls and Boys tournament at Haibowal Kalan, Ludhiana. Inauguration was made jointly by Teja Singh Dhaliwal, Gen Sec Punjab Basketball Association and Annie Sikka, Councilor of ward no 79 in presence of Academy director Nagma Kaushal , Nisha Sikka, Rohit Sikka and Ludhiana District Basketball Association treasurer Brij Goyal.
Dhaliwal while explaining the importance of Olympic Day Celebration praised the sports academy of the area and councilor Annie Sikka for involving young children in sports that will help them prevent drug traps. He pledged all sports from PBA to the area councilor and academy. The Counselor joined teenage players in demonstrating placards against drugs abuse. Brij Goyal vouched for adopting both Ball and Book to have a balanced life. Coaches Shivani Sabharwal and Nakul Sharma are overseeing this 3 day tournament which has attracted players from many schools. This is the first of its kind effort in Ludhiana city by any councilor as regular games in Basketball Courts are held daily in Guru Nanak Stadium.
