Health Assessment Camp at Gulzar Group of Institutions
Ludhiana, 08 April : Gulzar group of institutions & Department Of Allied Health Sciences organized a Free Health Assessment Camp in association with Indus Hospital and Confederation of Indian Industries at the institute premises. The camp was inaugurated by Executive Director of GGI Er. Gurkirat Singh. The camp included free medical consultation, Dental screening, Psychiatric consultation and nutrition advice. The assessment included ECG monitoring, blood sugar measurement, BP measurement, Body Mass Index (BMI), oxygen saturation, Flexibility testing. In addition to it, BMD was also checked.
The team of professionals included Dr. Harsh Bhadwaj Internal Medicine, Dr. Tanujveer Singh Chandok Psychiatrist and Dr. Anchal Sharma Dentist along with Student Volunteers from Allied Sciences department of the institute, Nurses and ECG technicians.
CII mentored the endeavor and was represented by Randeep Bhogal, Convenor, CII Ludhiana Zone, Bhogal Sales Corporation, Dr. Deepak Jain, AVP-Corporate Office, Avon Cycles Limited, Geetanjali, Chief Compliance Co-Ordinator, Versatile Enterprises Pvt Ltd , and Rakesh, Proprietor, Lakshya Financial Management.
Rishi Pahwa, Chairman CII Ludhiana Zone and Jt. Managing Director Avon Cycles Limited, Lokesh Jain, Vice Chairman CII Ludhiana Zone and Partner T K Steels said that CII will take more such initiate along with other members under CSR and also appreciate the efforts of Gurkirat Singh & his team for organizing this event at GGI .
