Khel Mahotsav' organized at College of Nursing CMC and Hospital
Ludhiana (Tamanna Bedi) - College of Nursing CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana conducted Inter-Batch Sports Competition ‘KHEL MAHA UTSAV-2023’ on 7th, 9th & 10th March, 2023 in Morning Side & Margaretta Craig Hostel Lawn. The inauguration was done by the Chief Guest - Dr. William Bhatti, Director & Dr. Usha Singh, Professor & Principal, College of Nursing, CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana followed by the march past which was led by the Best Female Athlete Ms. Anet Viji Mathews and Best Male Athlete Royalence Masih for the year 2022. Dr. Usha Singh, Principal emphasized that the aim of conducting the sports competition is to keep the students mentally and physically fit to build their overall personality.
Felicitations were done by other dignitaries present on the occasion. Great enthusiasm and sportsmanship were shown by all the nursing students during the sports meet. Vote of thanks was delivered by Sanjeet Johnson, Associate Professor & Sports Co-ordinator.
The events carried out were volleyball, throwball, basketball, badminton, chess, carom, table-tennis, kho-kho, shot-put, futsal, lemon-race, three-legged race, skipping race, table-tennis etc. The faculty members also took part in various events with great enthusiasm.
The prize were distributed to the winners on the valedictory session on 10thMarch, 2023. The entire sports meet was co-ordinated by Sanjeet Johnson, Assoc. Profesor, Mrs. Aster K. Masih, Asstt. Professor, Subjot B. Namath, Clinical Instructor and Council Members.
