Zoology students bag best paper presentation award

Ludhiana, April 26… Students from the Department of Zoology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, have been awarded “Best Oral Presentation Award” and “Best Poster Presentation Award” during the International Conference on “Animal Behaviour and Trends in Zoological Studies” held at REVA University, Bangalore, India on 04-05 April, 2023.


Ms Gurpreet Kaur was awarded ‘Best Oral Presentation Award’ for her research paper entitled "Movement patterns of field rats during different stages of berseem crop" co-authored by Kiran and B.K. Babbar while Ms Harjinder Kaur was awarded the ‘Best Poster Presentation Award’ for her research paper entitled "Different behaviour patterns of house rat, Rattus rattus in response to neem seed and andrographolide based baits” coauthored by Meenu Verma and B.K. Babbar.


Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal, worthy Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Pardeep Kumar Chhuneja, Dean, Postgraduate Studies; Dr A. S. Dhatt, Director of Research; Dr Shammi Kapoor, Dean, College of Basic Sciences & Humanities; and Dr Neena Singla, Principal Zoologist & Head, Department of Zoology congratulated the students and the advisor and wished them all success in their future endeavour.
