CM to dedicate 79 Aam Aadmi Clinics tomorrow

 


Ludhiana, May 4: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday will dedicate 79 new Aam Aadmi clinics (AACs) to the people of the Punjab, in Ludhiana. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejirwal will also be present as Chief guest of the occasion.


Reviewing the preparations of the main event to be held near MC- B zone office, Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh said that these 79 new AACs throughout Punjab included eight at Ludhiana, 17 in Amritsar, one each at Mansa, Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Barnala and Bathinda, two at Faridkot , four at Ferozepur, three at Gurdaspur, 12 at Moga, five at Patiala, 11 at Sangrur, six each at SAS Nagar and SBS Nagar, would be opened tomorrow.


The Cabinet Minister said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejirwal would also address the gathering here after dedicating the new AAC here.


The Health Minister said that more than 21 lakh people had received free treatment in existing 504 Aam Aadmi Clinics till now. He said that it was a matter of great pride that the health revolution started in Punjab within just a year of the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government. Before the elections, party chief Arvind Kejriwal had given a guarantee to the people of Punjab that to provide free treatment, Mohalla Clinics would be set up in Punjab. Now the Punjab government has been fulfilling the promises and working assiduously to fulfil its dream of making the state again Rangla Punjab, he added.
